I had recurring problems with cellulitis after having my leg smashed up by a marauding taxi who got me on a zebra crossing. It is no fun having a red blotchy very swollen leg itching like hell.

In the end I found the solution was to use the Fucibert Cream in great big dollops not the dainty tubes used by the NHS. I have medical contacts and was able to source it ok thank god. So now I can play squash again.

Now I keep some cream to hand - as Michael says the first sign of trouble treat it even 24 hrs wait is too long.

good luck

There is a prescription cream called "Fucibet Cream" which is quite effective with cellulitis. As well as hugeley decreasing the problem it is also very soothing.

The NHS is not very keen on prescribing it as they deem it to be expensive. It is worth pushing of if you don't have it already.
