GP,you remind me of my Mother in Law, who every Sunday, when we would visit, would announce.

" we didn't win the lottery last night " in a very matter of fact way, like it was expected that they would win but something had gone wrong.

Like, we didn't watch Eastenders last night, or I didn't want to wash up, or I didn't buy biscuits this week.

We still say it on the rare occasion we buy a ticket. ( and don't win !)

Yes she is. She was uncanny as Margaret Thatcher- a fantastic character actress. And I loved her in Mama Mia!

I'm watching Knot's Landing on CBS Drama, which was a spin off of Dallas.

It is about couples in a suburb of Los Angeles, two of the main characters being Gary Ewing (brother of Dallas' JR and Bobby) and his wife/ ex-wife/ and then wife again, Valene. It ran from 1979-1993. It is now nearly through series 10. It's great re-living the old series' that I loved from years ago. I have watched Dallas through too!

When do I find time to get the work done?!
