Good afternoon all.Not been too bad here today, a bit damp but not as cold as they promised, unless I am judging it against last week when we thought it was much colder 'up there' then 'down here' Lol!!! Weekly shop done today well more like a two weekly from the bill seemed to need a lot because of not shopping last week and having left over veg etc.
Am hoping those with bugs have not sent them into cyber space.

Paula leave Vic alone, keep him off your feet anyway.

Seriously hope those with bugs will soon feel better. :-) :-) :-)

Many years ago, Bob Dylan had a huge hit with 'The Times, They Are a Changin', which captured the mood of that era .

Back then, 'gay-rights' was the opinion of the 'Late Late Show' host; a 'top-up' was what a friendly barman gave you at closing time; and 'Irish Water' was what you waded through during the summer.

An 'escort-agency' was your local Ford garage; a G-string was found on a guitar; 'boxers' fought in the Olympics and won bronze medals; and 'divers' wore skimpy togs and jumped off a high board.

A 'whistleblower' was the ref at the Sunday school match; 'Twitter' was something your budgie did in its cage; an 'iPad' was used if they were bloodshot; a 'disc' was something that slipped in your back; a 'tablet' was what you took for the pain; and 'ejaculations' were short prayers the nuns tried to teach you.

'Mass murder' was the church choir singing out of tune and the 'missionary position' was Fr Pat preaching the bible in Africa.

(C&P from a recent E-Mail.)

By the way, you will need to be Irish or have lived in Ireland anytime between the late 60s & not so many years ago to understand the comment about 'The Late, Late Show'. And I'm not about to spoil it by explaining it. Begorrah!
