I got in a car with a stranger this morning.

walking to the shop the road and pavements were all under water and the cars and lorries were racing by and drenching me. I paddled , actually paddled, to dry land.!!

In the P.Office a man in front said he had passed me on the way and would I like a lift home.
So I weighed things up and accepted gratefully.
