Michael, like everyone else I really hope that your scan will give good results. So glad that you enjoyed your fry up for breakfast, too.

Thinking of you, your wife and all your family.

Love, Sallie.x

Hi Michael - hope the results of your scan are ok, pleased that you enjoyed your fry up, nothing beats a good fry up. As you say, in life you have to deal with the cards you are dealt the best way you can. My gran always said life was like climbing a rocky path and that every time you stumbled and fell, you had to pick yourself up, brush any dust off, and carry on with your journey - take care and chin up :-)

thank you for your comments well the scan don just got to wait for the results to see if I,ve lost me marbles. the fry up was lush. wendy I am a firm beliver you have the deal with the cards you are delt with in life as beast you can I have lost so many family and friends to this horrible illness, mine you I have days that I don't have any sense of humour then I think pull your self together their are people who have the same .and cope with it. :-D :-D :-D :-

Hello Michal I hope the scan went well and you enjoyed your fry up. OH is border line diabetic and now has his "fry ups" grilled bacon poached egg, tomatoes, mushrooms toast etc. he says it's much nicer as the food tastes better.

Have a good day best wishes to you both.

had a reasonable day I did get out but only to the bank as it was too flipping cold to go any where else . had a phone call this morning from hospital I have to go for a scan tomorrow as the wife told the ongology doctor the other night I was talking gibberish it was like I was drunk as if I have not had a drink in 25 yrs. they said it might be the meds if so they will have to be adjusted. was talking to son about this he asked why my head has a raised bone on the top of my head I said it,s simple as I take in more knowledge the old stuff raises to the top to make room for the new stuff . now he calls me peanut head, told him he aint too big for a clip round the ear ole.he the said well we will see if you got a brain. the little monkey you got to love him.

Glad to hear things are progressing ok Michael and pleased that McMillan have not let you down, was a bit worried about their reputation when they didn't appear to contact you. Didn't know they went by different names in different parts of UK>

What a tonic you are Michael. I bet that also is what the oncology nurses in clinic thought too.
You seem to have had a good and positive day today. At least you have had explanations re: MacMillan/Palliative Care Nurses and are sure to have them ring you again. Like you and Sylvia too, this info was also news to me.
Good luck with the chemo tomorrow. Hope you will have a decent nights sleep, you have certainly earned it. xx

Michael, what a great sense of humour you have. Pleased to hear all went well today and you can start your chemo again tomorrow. At least now you know McMillan is the same as palliative care, I never knew that either, and you will be seeing them soon. Have a good rest as you have had a tiring day and please keep that sense of humour. xx
