In a quick reply to Dermot I phoned a number in our local newsletter for volunteering to call on lonely elderly people. I't was an answer phone. I left a message with my details and waited, and waited and waited. By the time they reply to my call I shall probably be old and lonely myself.

I thnk her spanks were too tight CT and it was cutting off her circulation :-0 :-0 :-D

There are hundreds of elderly or frail people in this country who will be alone this Christmas. Some of them might be too proud to seek company & may not have family to ask. But you can rest assured that the majority would probably love to have someone/anyone to visit them or even call them on the phone, this Christmas period.

If you can reach out to an elderly lonely neighbour or a family relation in the coming days, do so. It may not take much of your time but it would be one of the best ’charitable works’ you'll do for the rest of this year.
