Afternoon all - Didn't realise you are still in Whitby GiN, I've only been once, but loved it!

Hi LB - think daughter is coming home for a couple of days soon - I'll let you know when it's my turn to do a return visit to London. Drumming my fingers seems to have spread from the North to the South and aroused (is that a banned word?) a few people.

Fly - nobody has sent me a p.m. :-( So I'm just surmising

CT - I'm in Whitby for a whole week, I love the place, too! It has so much atmosphere. Sadly, got to leave tomorrow, but my travels aren't finished yet!

A gansey might be a Geordie word, we'll have to verify that with GP!

How Yorkshire are you Fly? I did the How Northern Are You quiz - I was only 95%, missed out on 5% because I haven't had chips and gravy in the last week :-(

I'm borderline Yorkshire ... so I'm not offended by this, hope you aren't, or anyone else

Fly - we've mainly stayed in Whitby, apart from a short drive down the coast. Had a lovely bracing walk down the pier - plenty of fishing there, and lots of crashing waves. :-D :-D :-D

My eldest grandson is ace at fishing - he's done trout, but mainly fishes for carp :-) :-) :-)
