Good afternoon Mersey and everyone who may pop in and out.

Just back from cat feeding duties the last day for the moment, my son is home this afternoon from holiday in Spain. He text-ed me and phoned twice yesterday to see if we were alright due to the weather forecast on British TV. He is such a funny, lovely man, I think as I (and he) gets older our roles are reversing, he is always checking up on me for some thing or another.

I have prepared dinner for this evening Cheddar and Parmesan potato pie with sausages and onion gravy. We are going to the cinema this evening to see Captain Phillips OH's choice, but I have heard very good reviews, if I get bored with it I will just nod off.
