Quite a lot of New Zealand is verymodelled on Britain Emma. I went toChristchurch in the South Island which is exactly like Canterbury even down to the river and the Cathedral. Then the Southern Alps are just like Norway even got fjords, although Rotarua in the North with it's sulpherous hot mud pools is like nowhere else I have ever been.

I was lucky enough to be seconded to NZ for six months in the late eighties

My uncle, the one whose ninetieth birthday I attended on Monday, spent most of his working life in West Africa, first Nigeria then Ghana where he met and married his second wife. I've been to Nigeria once but surveyed for the oil industry in Orkney and Ghana in the late seventies

W-e-l-l i wouldn't say that but it tasted great and the company Gin, yourself etc was wonderful and much more fun than my old adversaries at the Uni. After my first lecture this morning I did a bit of footwork research round a fort where my old Godfather dad was based in1896. It's apart now and that man is very loosely related tome so I guess you COULD call it research!

I didn't know that about Dunedin Neil very interesting.

My son works for himself in the oil industry and he is
back off to Nigeria tomorrow.

They have just come back to Aberdeen to live
They have been in Elgin for 4 years.
