Just looked up the neeps...they are swedes
and the cranachan is a dessert, which looks quite nice..LOL
Not too sure about the swedes, but could quite like a nice hunky sweed....LOL

Sammi... Cranachan is a traditional Scottish desert
Of oats, cream, Whisky and raspberries.
Neeps are turnips or swede depending which part of the
country your from and Haggis you don't want to know :-D :-D

Emma, I have actually had haggis on a Burns night out, it wasn't actually too bad, something different.

The pudding sounds scrummy.

The pudding is lovely but you can keep the

Another day has passed in Emergency Ward 10 (remember that one?). District nurse out to day to change dressings..was appalled that the hospital had turfed him out so soon without contacting them for immediate follow up care...it's a long story!

Have just managed to help get him showered and have now thrown him in bed with strict instructions to stay there for a few hours...as I am typing I can here him in the kitchen :-0

Well bugger me GN....I stood at the foot of the bed and went through a menu near enough......no I don't feel like anything eat....just take my tabs and a drink, are you sure says I...very sure says he. I made myself a Sarnie crisps and coleslaw and sat in the lounge with it ipad looking out for an expected delivery.....I typed half what I wanted to and ate one Sarnie before I heard him in the kitchen....trying to open a can of soup whilst balancing on his crutches...grrrrrrrr :-0 :-0

Ann, if he's not careful, he might find himself with two damaged legs and a sore head, methinks! :-D :-D ;-) ;-)
