I am researching the Wotherspoon family from the Old/New Monkland areas of Scotland, some moved to the Leslie and Kelty areas of Fife and I'm having problems linking the Wotherspoon's from Leslie and the Wotherspoon's from Kelty. I am also researching the Clusker family from Co. Meath in Ireland who moved to West Lothian and from there to Fife............"Vita non est vivere sed valere vita est"

Better news today folks, via Sheila from Jan!

"Anyway it is really good news, when Jan got there today Joyce was sat in the wheelchair and smiled when he walked in,and she has been talking to him quite normally,in a couple of days ( possibly ) they are moving her to a nursing home to get her muscles going and get her walking again,"

The staff at the home will make sure Joyce eats properly and drinks plenty of fluids ( we hope) and will be exercising too so she should come out of there a new woman (lucky Jan lol)

I am so relieved that Joyce has made good progress and hope it continues.

Love to Joyce, Jan, Sheila and all of you for the support and caring shown

Sallie, thanks yes we are ok now. o.h's thumb seems to have healed well but he has to see a consultant chosen by the insurance company chasing his claim against the car driver who knocked him off his bike. So long winded - he is getting very fed up with all the paperwork.

No news since Monday morning but no news is good news 'they' say so fingers crossed we will hear about more encouraging signs from Joyce.

I have not been on GR for a few days and have just seen about the news of Joyce. I was just thinking of her the other day when I came across one of the lovely cards she sent me.
