Purple **^*Sparkly*^** Diamond Report 21 Sep 2013 03:10

Letest news from Jan via Sheila:

Well, they have moved Joyce to the nursing home today and they have started her physio. Jan says they have stopped her morphine tablets and stopped the use of the morphine patches also other medication that she was taking, don't know if this is just a short term thing or not.. Hopefully now they will get her sorted out, Jan said she looked even better today but mixed a few words up and could not think of physio, but he said she was tired so that is understandable.

This sounds very positive doesn't it? I do hope Joyce can manage the physio without too much pain and discomfort given that she is off the morphine, I am sure it will make a difference in the end to be off most of the meds, and hopefully she will feel lots better soon.

A relief for Jan and her family to know she is being well looked after so maybe Jan can get a bit of rest after work and visiting and with his Mum cooking for him, he can relax when he gets home and takes the dog out.

More news as and when......

Thanks Sheila for keeping us posted.

Come on Joyce, do all you are told and get well soon.
