Poor little Esme, she could do without a cold bless her. What a real treat for her parents to have a night out together and it will have been special bonding time for you to be baby-sitting such a special little girl.

I am pleased at the good news Brenda, I hope she continues to improve

We are just back from spending a few days with Esme and her family. Poor thing has a cold,so she is coughing all of the time and that makes her sick.

Her parents went out for the first time since she was born, that meant we had to learn how to do the tube feed. I was a bit nerve racking, but we managed fine. She is a bit behind what she should be doing, she is not very good at holding her head up for instance. She did start talking to her toys while we were there, she was chuntering away by the time we left,so hopefully she will start to reach out for them soon.

She still refuses to have anything by mouth, my daughter was trying to put baby rice onto her dummy, but she wasn't fooled by that

Well....the news is better again.....Avatar is todays picture....
She pulled through again....my daughter and the parents held her for the longest she had been out of her cot....and she cried when they put her back..
She is amazing the way she is fighting this....hope it continues! <3 <3
