I enjoyed the show too. However - I thought that Patrick was a bit better in rehersals (as seen on Take2) so was a little disappointed in his performance.

I agree that it SHOULD be Mark and Fiona in the Dance off - but just in case I ahve voted for two couples higher up the leader board.

Didn't think tha Mark was as good as Ben last week in his Jive - but Craig gave Ben 4 and Mark 5. I know that Mark has bad knees and (also like me ) a large belly - but he has been in Hair SSpray on stage - so would have expected him to be good in that part of his dance. Liked his bright costume though - fitted in with the "Hair Spray" theme.

Wonderful to watch the youngsters dance - what a wonderful opportunity for them. I reckon that a lot of proud family and friends will have recorded them. Stars of the future.

Was hoping to see Dave in the audience - but if he WAS there I missed him. Debbie the Dragon was there as was Peter Crouch (Abbey's husband).

This was Natalies best performance to date (I think). showing a bit of animation and enjoyment - let herself go a bit for a change - instead of a very controled performance.

Looking forward to the results show.

Hope that there are no nasty shocks!

I said to Itsmytelly when the younguns came on dancing theres our pro's of tomorrow they were wonderful as were all the dancers.

Fiona has to be in the dance off this week its time she went, at least Mark has good timing :-D

Kevin has grown on me over the last few weeks, he isnt as full of himself as the others, he knows his stuff and he taught Suzanna well :-D

Silly Sausage Report 17 Nov 2013 20:17

Well s'long Fiona yer did yer best never danced a full 90 sec routine without forgetting what you was doing and I amt no professional but I am pretty dam sure that first lift in their danceoff was illegal the way he hoisted her up by the waist!!!

I voted for Kevin and Suzanna this week as I thought that was dance of the series, but as from next week its back to voting for Mark on every available phone I can get me mitts on ..............I wanna keep him it he is fun ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-)

AnnCardiff Report 17 Nov 2013 20:53

well they made the right decision tonight - Fiona and Anton gone and Mark did up his game - only Craig wanted to keep Fiona - the others wanted Mark to stay

TessAkaBridgetTheFidget

TessAkaBridgetTheFidget Report 17 Nov 2013 23:54

Like AnnC I thought that the right person went tonight. Mark was far better in the dance off this time. He put everything into his dance, I reckon that he thought that it was his farewell performance.

The lovely Fiona got lost (again). I know that she tried her best - but as she said herself - she has ggot difficulty remembering the whole routine.

Hayley - I noticed that the first lift was different - but hadn't realised that it was illegal. Perhaps she stood in the wrong postions so Anton didn't have a choice!

Loved everything about Blackpool - including the extra dancing, and Andre Reau (sp?)

I thought that Craig looked rather pale and possibly in pain, during the Lens Lens section. He didn't say much (for a change). Hope that he is okay.

Good Day Strictly Fans :-D......what a palvaver I've had signing in :-(

Fabulous night at Blackpool the ballroom is something else ...wonderful <3

Agree the right two imho went into dance off and also thought Fiona was the one to go. Mark's dance was smashing, glad he picked that number from 'Hairspray' happy dance :-D and fun.

My favourite dance was Suzanna and Kevin's Paso and I was really pleased they had the classic music....I clapped the whole way through lolol... but they should have got 4 tens.

btw. heard this morning there'd been a burglary at the Tower......through the many tunnels underneath :-|

Mau xx

Yes mobile and Ipad taken from female dressing room, not good for the tower security, professionals and celebrities stuff taken, not captured on cctv either. Some intimation that it may be an inside job.

Some of the dancers had money taken from their purses too. How mean spirited of someone!

I think that Fiona and Anton were very gracious on Take 2.

Shame, but another bites the dust!

I hope that the thief is caught and punished.

Good to see Fiona and Anton on takestwo tonight. I wonder if Fiona is secretly relived - as she won't have to learn any more routines ;-)

Perhaps though, she will continue to learn to dance. Her efforts would go down well at a tea dance - or a friendly non-competitive dance.

Craig was on good form again tonight. It was good to see him so talkative.

Looking forward to saturday night.

:-D :-D :-D

P.S. Will have to sort out something glittery, now that my leathers are no longer appropriate. ;-) :-D

OMG FFS why do we have to have a drama every flipping week with Miss sorebackfaintynowiamgoingtocryforvotes Pants :-| and she certainly didnt deserve a 10 from Bruno how inconsistant are the judges scores? Infact none of them shone for me tonight seems like they were all suffering from a Blackpool hangover.

Suzanne and Kevin ......... disappointing ... Mums dancing at a family doo.

Sophie and Brendan..... I dont think she is every going to connect with Brendan and would about his little strop...tsk tsk not very professional he looked upset , could be in the bottom 2 :-P

Mark and Evetta......... Same old .disappointing

Abby and Aliaz......worst paso I have ever seen for so far in the series, disappointing

Ben and Kristina ......boring should be in the bottom 2 obviously nowt to write home about with his shirt on

Natalie and Artrim ....worst dance they have ever done .......

Ashley and Ola ...totally forgettable ........

Patrick and Anya........... nice dance but he was swinging her about like a bag of spuds :-(

I was rather distracted by the floor lights tonight. Not too keen on the music either.
Rather thought that everyone had rather gone off the boil after last week at Blackpool.
I think that this has happened before. The week after Blackpool is damp squib week. Getting back to the studio dance floor instead of all the glitz and glamour (and bouncy floor) of Blackpool tends to be a bit of an anti-climax.
Blackpool week even some of the judges were carried away by the occasion, giving tens were they were not merited.
I wonder if the judges, looking back now realise that they over marked. Len is now saying that they are going to be stricter. As long as everyone is marked by the same yardstick I don't mind.

This is the first week, this series that I have kept note of the marks given by the judges.
Was surprised to see that Darcy marked Ben lower than Mark - the other judges gave them equal marks.
EDIT I thought that Ben was at least as good as Mark (even if that is not saying much).

Possibly Nat and Art would have got higher marks - or at least looked better if their music had suited their routine. All seem a little odd to me.

Sophia's eye contact would be more obvious if she wore shorter eyelashes.
;-)

Hayley for a moment I thought that you left Ash off your list. However, when I checked back I see that you said that Ash & Ol were forgettable!
Seems that I forgot. ;-) ;-) ;-)

Hope that things pick up again next week .

Well I think last night proved that Brucie was well past his sell-by date. What a load of fluffs from him, and he was reading them too!

I think it will be either Ben or Mark tonight/last night!

Well Brendan was not best pleased at all, was he? He said he didn't want to do a filthy rumba, but it might have gone down better with the judges.

I am slightly tiring of Susanna being 'exhausted' at the end of every dance, and panting at the judges. Yep, its hard work girl, but no-one else does it except Miss FP. Are we going to have a Battle of the Divas?

I think this week was going to be an anti-climax in any case after Blackpool, and it was!

:-(

I have been wondering if Sophia and Brenden's routines are influenced by her husband ?

Did anyone else see, right at the begining. Sophia's husbands visit to the studio when he said to Brenden "I wish you could do it without touching" !!

Last night she said she was "happy with the dance because her husband liked it "

AnnCardiff

AnnCardiff Report 24 Nov 2013 11:01

I'd have preferred a filthy paso :-D :-D

TessAkaBridgetTheFidget

TessAkaBridgetTheFidget Report 24 Nov 2013 12:17

I recall a few years ago that Brendan was told off for having a rumba that was too filthy!
Can't remember his partners name - she was an actress (not a youngster).

This was before Brendan got married - so perhaps his wife doesn't like him dancing filthy rumbas either.
