I am losing my sanity on this site, well what little sanity I have left, beginning to think I am seeing things and that GR have sneaked a Speed Limiter into my computer :-(

I load General Chat Board and where icons for stickied posts etc usually show no icons just words, I reload the page and the icons are there :-S

I type a comment to post on a tread, click submit, screen goes blank, then after a period of 30 to 60 seconds, if I am lucky, the Post Added page appears :-(

I just seem to go round and round and round, round and round and round and round, never really succeeding in doing what I was trying to do :-S :-S :-S

And have we lost what we added to the new boards?

So if there is no roll back where are the new boards?

Hi everyone,

We would like to apologise again for the current site performance. We know that it is running slowly for some of our members. The problem occurred since we released improvements to the site on Monday. Since then our development team have been working tirelessly to fix the issue, but today we have taken to decision to roll back the changes we made one by one so that we can identify what exactly is causing the site to be slow. We are really sorry for any inconvenience caused and will keep you updated with our progress.

Hi everyone,

The two new boards have temporarily gone from the left hand side navigation but you can still access them by going to Boards Summary. They'll be back on the left hand side by tomorrow morning.

Go to the top tool bar which says Community, then click on Boards Summary. You'll see the complete list of boards there.

AnnCardiff it is on the Community drop down menu.

I am puzzled as to why some have been told that the site is being rolled back and some have been told that it is not.

Surely it would make sense to roll back to the last backup copy before the "improvements" were made and work it out from there.

By then making alterations incrementally it should be a fairly simple process to nail down the problem.

I am puzzled as to why the problems were not picked up on during testing anyway.

Can we 'roll back' to 2011 please. It's the last time I remember the site working :-|

Off to watch Last of the Summer Wine - might find out there what is going on as I am sure, Compo, Cleggy, Seymour, and Wesley - have got to the GR servers ;-)

Gins I do think that is a little unfair - I believe it worked in 2012.
