Although petrified of the dentist, the injections don't bother me. Actually the last couple of times the dentist has prenumbed my gums so that the needle doesn't hurt as much. I need injections even to have my teeth deep cleaned. I had to chuckle the time before last, I had the senior dental nurse assisting my dentist as his usual one was away. She took hold of my hand and said to the dentist who is so young he looks like he should still be at school. 'Simon, this lady is very nervous so you just be nice to her!'. Actually he is lovely, nice looking too. Hope all goes/went well Barb and that you are now pain free. |
