Hi Barbs - You are more than welcome to join me later for drinkies.
Yes I have one of those blood pressure thingies and take readings regularly. Any significant changes in blood pressure and I report it to the doctor.

Hi Errol - hope you are OK.

Barbs - My blood pressure appears to have returned to normal at the moment so I might open one of my cheap bottles of plonk later on.

Hello, Barb - sorry having tried to liven up the thread, the grandson and girlfriend are about to visit! I think he's trying to keep in with us! :-D :-D

I'm here GiN, no napping this end. I have been busy on Ancestry. Why is nothing easy. I saw a comment made earlier that their ancestors must have spent census nights in their cellar. Well it looks as though my lot were down their with them.

Tis quiet innit. Mersey must have gone to a farm for the aged.

Animals I mean :-D

GinN Report 12 Aug 2013 18:58

Why all this silence? :-S

Where is everyone? Are you looking for geriatric sheep and micropigs with Mersey, or have you all fallen asleep after tea! :-D :-D

Thanks GiN. We are all deleting so that the thread goes back to its original state for the sake of the family.

Did make one brief comment, but have now deleted it as asked. :-)

That's fine GP, as long as people have seen the post, it is just that the thread took off quickly so it was possible nobody spotted it.

Hi Ann,
I wasn't ignoring you - Its not my nature. It's just that I had not contributed to the thread in question because I thought there might have been a genuine mistake.
Sorry.

I didn't reply Ann as I hadn't posted on there.

Now, GP! Calm down, calm down - think of your blood pressure! :-D :-D ;-)

Barb - Norwich is a great city, with tons of history - I love going there, only 42 miles away! One of my GGFx3 was born in Norwich, but was brought up in Surrey. Seems that people moved around more than we think! :-)

Maybe it doesn't apply to anyone on here but did you all see my post back a bit. Nobody commented so I guess nobody read it or is involved. :-) :-)

Just had a look GiN. It looks a really great place to visit. Loads of historical buildings too. I read there was a thriving leather industry and it fits that my ancestor was a boot closer. I had St Tombland wrongly.

I have just had a very enjoyable history lesson

So why did he move to Exeter by 1851 LOL :-D
