I know what you mean, GiN :-D you can set them just so ;-)

I must admit the Doctors scales can be a bit scary :-S :-S

GinN Report 11 Aug 2013 17:22

May I politely redirect you to your bathroom scales, Londonbelle? Though, if they are anything like mine, they tell big lies! :-D :-D ;-)

Ha ha GiN , I wish. ;-)

Has Errol not been about today then Visions of Mersey in her pink leathers on her pink moped zooming around the countryside with Errol hanging on to her for grim death. :-D :-D

Hi Barb :-D

:-D :-D

M&S seem to have done an about turn! They used to be generous in their sizes :-D but them they went all scimpy :-( either that or I put on weight :-( but now they seem to be generous again :-D :-D or have I lost weight :-D :-D

GinN Report 11 Aug 2013 17:16

Hi, Barb! :-D

I think everyone has gone to join Mersey down on the Farm! I bet she's putting Errol through his paces as we speak! :-D :-D

Now, Barb, I seem to remember from your avatar photo (not yet reinstated :-| ) that you are pretty slim, so there can't be much smaller sizes in the store! :-D :-D

Coooeee Gin and everyone :-D

Well done for starting this off this morning. Been a bit quiet everywhere by the looks of it.

I love M&S sizes as I usually have to go smaller than normal ;-)

GinN

GinN Report 11 Aug 2013 16:52

AnnonGlos - M&Ssizes are very unpredictable at the moment, dependingon which of their "ranges" you choose. I find I need a size smaller in some, and a size bigger in others! Now, I always carry a tape measure when I go shopping for clothes, and a list of measurements that I know will fit. :-) :-)

The boards do seem to be generally quiet at the moment. People on hols maybe and Sunday people are entertaining or off out with family.

We had to go into town as yesterday I bought a pair of M&S Classic 'posh' (their word) jeans in my usual size. I have got a pair of trousers on today in that size. Had to go and change them for a size smaller :-D :-D :-D

Hi, Londonbelle and Fly! :-D

Yes, things are quiet today - Sunday is often like that. Or, it maybe that my threads are not as exciting as Mersey's! :-( :-D

Hi, all!

I'm back from worshipping at the temples of Tesco and Sainsburys, and am trawling through the Sunday papers before cooking dinner.

Looks like everyone is having a busy time except for Dermot...........aaaaah! :-D

Good luck with your move, Sue. North Yorks - lucky you, it's a gorgeous part of the country! :-)

It is not the actual moving, more the packing/throwing out of accumulated 'stuff'. I dread to think if we were to move from here, bad enough when we had been in a house for ten years. We have been here 21 years now.

Good luck with your move. :-)
