GinN I use Elmlea it's an alternative to cream, and is a blend of buttermilk and vegetable oils, its just as good as cream IMO

I am not really a supporter of soccerball although I do know about the side off rule.

If someone kicks the round leathery thingy at the netty doings and there are some soccerball chaps standing in front of you and have been there for about half an hour but you are nearer to the posts than they are and you are standing at the bar watching it on the bigscreen television doings and it is your round but you ignore the fact then you are offside.

The umpire then blows his whistle and makes the score in favour of Manchester Unitedville and we all go home for tea.

Paula - we used to have a French Master whom we called Moule because he looked like one lolol

GinN

GinN Report 7 Aug 2013 12:37

Ooh, Moules Mariniere, Paula! I love them! Not with cream, though, too fattening! :-(

When we go to France, it's the last thing we have to eat before we leave, avec les frites, naturellement!

Good afternoon Mersey and everyone. It looks like a lively thread today. I have been out on cat feeding duties early this morning, then a little bit of shopping, I brought some lovely T shirts for the boys who are staying with us over the weekend. I arrived back home to find Katie the cat sitting by her food dish waiting to be fed. I am a slave to cats!

Have a good day every one.

Cockles Whelks are yuk for me, but I do like Moules marinière with cream, garlic and parsley <3
