We are going to Avon Valley Adventure Park on Monday with OH,s eldest g,daughter and gt,grandson. All sorts of animals and fun rides etc etc.

The weather for monday doesn't look very promising but they do say that if it rains on your visit they will give you free passes to come again within 7 days. How about that

But me having ** fun rides ** that close together, is too too much to take in :-D

It was funny one of the girls was almost throwing the ball and it landed with such a bang about halfway down the lane.....I thought it was going to go through the floor :-D

Must have been more than a couple of years ago when we visited Gloucester! I do remember the outlet centre, and it was pretty new then. :-D

I remember going ten pin bowling years ago, there used to be a lot of them around in the North East. I was excellent at bowling the ball into the gutter! :-D :-D

Yes, I can remember in the 60s/70s a lot of the cinemas were turned into bowling alleys......this one was in central London downstairs in a basement of all places....only had 4 lanes in the main part and then a further 2 in another room

Gin, The Antique centre has moved from the warehouse now and all the little shops are now in a purpose built building in the new part of the Quays where the outlet centre is. (since about 3 years ago. Now a new cinema is almost finished and lots of restaurants, plus many of the warehouses have been made into flats. Quite a good place to visit.

Back in my youth I ran a bar in a Ten Pin Bowling Alley. I loved it and was quite good even if I do say so myself. It was always a full house.

It was pulled down years ago. :-(

Hi All, much to my shame I can't remember the last time I made a cake!!!

We have been to town to the Gloucester quays at the docks looking round a craft fair, had lunch out, well more brunch (fry up) really. Gosh was that restaurant crowded too, only been there a few weeks but already popular. Sunny all day despite being prepared for promised rain with light coats, which had to be carried because we were so hot!!! Got home and OH did the ironing (as usual bless him).

No meal to cook tonight. And no squats either (can't remember the last time I did any of those either.) :-D
