Scozz, that is terrible, firstly that you were unable to go with him in the ambulance and secondly that nobody can reassure you as to what is happeneing. I hope, once he is at a main hospital, that he will get good treatment and that so will you. Terrible too when they are able to phone and confirm finance but not to reassure you.

Thinking of you. Do let us know how he is and how you are. <3 <3

Oh, Scozz, feel for you! I have been in the same position and know how dreadful it is. Hope you get some good news soon and that you can visit.

Big hug!

Oh Scozz. I am so sorry, it is just dreadful that no one will tell you what is going on, why did they not allow you to go with him in the ambulance? Keep in your mind your OH is in the best place and hopefully they will get him sorted. I think you will feel better if you can see him, will you be able to visit him some time today? I wish there was something that I could do <3 Let us hope your SIL can get some answers.

Take care Paula

Oh bless you Scozz, sorry to hear about OH. Hope you can soon find out what is wrong - maybe 'they' aren't sure at the county hospital and he will need tests at the larger hospital to enable them to tell you more. Are you able to get to the hospital?

Hang on in there, and for now on here where your GR friends can be here for you.

OH got very ill a few hours ago.

I called for an ambulance, and they took him to the local hospital. I wasn't allowed to go.

I waited for a while before 'phoning the hospital..... only to be told they were "very busy" and could I call back in ten minutes.

A few minutes later, an "office person" from the hospital 'phoned, asking about our medical cover! I asked how OH was and she said she didn't know, she wasn't a nurse, and couldn't tell me.

Why couldn't they put a medical person on the 'phone???

I've been keeping OH's sister informed about what's happening. She wasn't impressed with my not knowing, so SHE is going to 'phone the hospital and then 'phone me! Sis-in-law is a nurse, maybe they will tell her.

All I know is that OH has been given morphine & he's being transferred from our local country hospital to a larger hospital.

I have no family here, I don't know what to do!!!!!!!!!!!

Bawling my eyes out.
