Sun, thunder and lightening, rain, sun etc, etc. Got so much done indoors too. I even put all my houseplants out for a wash and some fresh air.

So Mersey's having a service today. She will probably have a nap after so we might see her after tea. ( it's tea in my house ) only posh peeps have dinner LOL

Oh, GP! Pease pudding - I love it! Nowhere in Norfolk sells it, the Philistines, and tinned stuff is pretty poor. I have made it once or twice, but you should have seen the state of me and the kitchen when I used a stick blender on it! :-0 :-0 :-D :-D

GL - I really must start using my steam mop, as have new grey tiles in the kitchen, as well as a lot of laminate elsewhere. I'm sure it will be easy, once I give it a go! :-) :-)

I've got matt. black laminate flooring and is sooo hard to clean.
Ordinary mopping leaves water marks.

It was mentioned somewhere before (I can't think where? lol) but bare feet leave the worst stains.... and only a steamer works on them
EDIT: the floor... not the feet!

(Planning a new kitchen at the mo, and I can't wait to get rid of the black flooring)

Good afternoon Mersey and everyone. I have been trying to catch up with some chores but a series of (long) telephone calls have put a stop to that. We have just had thunder and tremendous rain storms. All is calm now and the garden looks refreshed.

GinN - just had a ham and peaspudding sandwich for lunch and will be having a chicken curry with jasmine rice for tea.
There has been a huge downpour and we are told to expect more during the day.
The air show at Sunderland ended yesterday and it attracted thousands. Luckily the planes came over my house in Newcastle as they had to land and take off at Newcastle Airport so I had a good glimpse of them.
I'm back at work tomorrow just to help out so I'm looking forward to that.

Sorry about being missing but my next door neighbour died and was cremated on Friday and I have been helping his sons to sort out his house and contents as it will be going up for sale shortly. I just hope I get good neighbours.

Everything is basically back to order now so lets carry on smiling. :-D
