Hi Ann,
Had to put the fan on as its so hot. Made myself a shandy but it doesn't taste the same as the one I had with my meal today. It's a bit early to open a chilled bottle of white wine so I have something to look forward to later on.

My dear Ann, I don't need to look for sympathy. It sort of finds me.

People just feel sorry for me.

Some prefer the word pity.

Hi GP.......it really is getting too much now for me....1pm news says it is going to be a little cooler tomorrow and then getting hotter for next week 32 degrees :-(

Errol....are you looking for sympathy again. ;-)

whooops... nearly missed ya today. been pretty busy. :-)
Hope everyone is enjoying this hot and sunny weather. :-D

My Tomatoes and Chillies are doing brilliant best year ever for growth. (both from my own last years seeds)

Just made myself a really cooling drink,a half pint glass of semi skimmed milk from the fridge popped in two teaspoons of camp coffee gave it whisk, lovely and cold, very similar taste to Baileys, but a damn sight cheaper. :-D
(I`m off the Baileys for a while, losing weight is my priority at the moment). :-(

Anyways, enjoy the rest of the evening, cant wait for the lightening and thunderstorms to come I just love to watch them. :-D :-D :-D <3 <3 <3

Hi George.... That's ex pats reminscing about square sliced sausages EH?
As I can buy them anywhere, I don't even have them very often.

EDIT:
Is there a library close to your M&s?
I work in one and that's where all the men come and hang out whilst OHs are shopping.
Most come in and read the newspapers.

Can't recall ever drinking Coors light but I'm not fussy... I'll drink any beer.
I prefer real ale!

Hi Everyone,
Have been back to work in South Shields today just to help out.
I then travelled into Newcastle and had an ice cold refreshing Shandy with one of my favourite meals.
Wish I could cool down.

many times I have suggested to M & S that they have a waiting area for husbands - and in that area that can display items of interest to men - no, not women's knickers and bras - but men's clothing, books, CDs and such like - that way it'll keep the men happy and leave the women to their shopping

I am sooooo looking forward to a cold beer this evening.
Would open one now but, I profess to being zero tolerant, and need to go out in the car first!

Morrisons have an offer just now: 12 bottles for £8
Various brands in the offer... I bought Staropramen and Miller

George - did you sit outside the changing rooms at M&S ? My OH does, and reckons he has some great conversations with other long suffering males! Can't beat a bit of male bonding among the Per Una! :-D :-D
