Just to clarify, I have just logged out of GR then gone to this thread and attempted to RR Mayfield's post 15 Jul 2013 20:26

I clicked on the report button and a page opened asking me to register with GR,

That is not the page that opens when reporting a post if you are logged in as a paying member

I'm only reporting what others said a couple of weeks ago.

Yes I also tried it again, the button is there and when hovering over it the hand shows indicating that it is live, perhaps it would not work, but as the reply box disapears you would expect the report button to as well.

For once...............no-one did anything but respond to a thread about a child being unhappy.

For some reason one person was singled out and every post of theirs no matter how helpful got the RR treatment.

Very odd.................and irritating for those of us trying to have some input or learn something useful on a thread that was getting more disjointed by the minute :-S

i dont know whats gone on, and im not that intrerested, but i can guess the likes of this thread is the reason people RR, to make a stir, which is exactly what happens,

someone RR everyone jumps up and down, RR sits back rubbing hands with glee,


mind if certain people could just aviod n ignore each other stuff like this wouldnt happy, in my opinion,

also i totally understand why people dont admit to RR as the names there called by folk who dont know who it is, are bad enough, imagine what they would get if they admitted it,

you do not have to be a paying member of GR to RR

Free members can also do it.


But tests done a few weeks ago by other members indicated that a non-member cannot RR posts

They can read them, but the buttons are not there.

I wonder do you actually need to be a member to RR? I logged out and went to this board and the report button is there even then.

It's just a shame someone at GR had to waste their time on nonsense :-(

I think most just think,,,,UK......

anyone anywhere in the world can log into GR with many ISPs using as many names as they like,,,,,,they ban a repeater reporter,but they can reinstate themselves with another name and false address and new email.plus creating a free account on GR.

just troublesome people,,,,,and as I put anyone wishing to keep a certain suspect in the picture from the comfort of the arm chair based in ie,say Germany can do so and sit back watching the hornets buzz round the nest.

jgee, I have a thread on this subject on the suggestions board and even that was subject to repeated RR's, GR did reinstate it
