It's another scorcher in Geordieland and I'm loving it.

GinN - No Piri Piri chicken today Bonnie Lass - My daughter will be picking me up later and we are all off for a carvery at the "Border Minstrel" in the grounds of Newcastle Racecourse . mmmmm!!!!!

Just hung out the washing, and crikey! - it is scorchio out there! Nice and cool in the living room, though - doesn't get the sun till evening.
I expect GP has gone in search of Piri Piri chicken again! :-D

My ickle sister says it now and again...it always make me larfff :-D

It's what my Mam used to say, Mersey - wasn't sure if it was a Geordie saying, but maybe not! :-)

Hi, Mersey and all, on this beautiful morning! After the washing is finished, I'm going to do "Sweet Fanny Adams" today - just going to be lazy, and let Hubby barbecue to his heart's content. Plenty of sausages to be had here too! :-D

Hi everyone, what a beautiful day yesterday was and looks like another one today,
feels like it could be a lazy day, just sitting in the garden with a cuppa. might even have a nap as I was up at 6 this morning. haha, one of the perks of being old.

The garden table & chairs are set-up with a sunshade ready for breakfast out there. Her-in-doors is slaving over a hot toaster as I write. Radio 4 switched-on & Sunday Times awaiting to be read & digested.

A stroll along the beach later watching the day-trippers eating their triangular cucumber sandwiches washed down by tepid lemonade, while trying to avoid the attentions of the pesky seagulls. Gosh! What extravagance!
