Nolls from Harrogate

Nolls from Harrogate Report 24 Jul 2013 13:53

Sun beginning to come out and not to hot outside but so clammy inside the house I can't open the windows or doors as the neighbours cat climbs in causes fights with our own cat eats all her food sleeps on bed and it is so dirty am sure it's full of fleas, has pooed upstairs and now caught it scratching the stair carpet (own cat does that but don't want any more doing it) It jumps on to garage roof , on to extension then jumps up to first floor b/room ledges which go across the front of house under all windows and squeezes through any open window it can find. I might add it is starving and just wants to be loved, a lovely big thing, but we are not in a position to take it on and as owners live at top of road it is not homeless , but it wont go there (think it doesn't like dog) just wish they would find it a nice home. Have had word with owner and she did come for one week to collect it at night and take it in but that's gone overboard now! Could go on but would take all day ps been to RSPCA but not interested! :-| Sorry such a glum post but as I suffer from asthma it's not funny having no air in house, feeling sorry for myself haha! :-S

We had a lot of thunder from 1.15 this morning
but no lightning or power cuts thank goodness.
My DIL in Elgin says they are cloudy up there but
sunshine also.

Morning Emma - quite pleasant where I am in Kent today, not to hot at the moment, but I see that up in West Fife yesterday my nieces had power cuts following some thunder and lightning storms.

GlasgowLass Report 23 Jul 2013 13:48

I saw a funny thing about an hour ago.... It was pouring down ouside and I spotted a wee dog in the street.
(Have never seen it before and I must say it was rather ugly)

2 mins later, I heard a wet, thump, thump thump.
It was a young man running... he was wearing nothing but a pair of boxer shorts and the noise was his bare feet, thumping on the went ground.

2 mins later the same noise .... this time the man was running in the opposite direction with the ugly wee dog tucked under his arm ????

Hi Nolls,
I like your new Avi.
You are right.
Pressie buying was a challenge, but I managed to find some things that I know she will like..... Monster Academy toys!
We went to see the film last week and she was sooo excited and insists it was worth the 12yr wait!

BTW: she will be 26yrs old on her B/day!

OH! Glasgow Lass now your asking I have resorted to gift vouchers I know it's not very exciting but they can choose themselves what they want and as we have a large family saves me running (or hobbling) around :-D
Did some gardening today but the ground is so hard even though it rained during the night but can't dig up the weeds someone else will have to do it now I wonder who? :-S

Spent almost all day on a shopping trip to Glasgow.
It was slightly overcast but very warm.

Mission accomplished though, as I got pressies for Dau No1 for her birthday on Saturday.
What does one buy for the girl who has everything?

Just nice here in SW Scotland too, Nolls. Occasional sunshine but a nice breeze to keep things pleasant - not looking forward to later in the week though!

Hope the weather in Scotland is better than the weather in North East England.
