Regarding the Festival in the Mud.......... there's an article in the local newspaper. 30,000 people attended the festival, the police also attended, with sniffer dogs.

468 grams of illicit substances were siezed, and 92 people charged with drug-related offences.

If I was in a tent, in the mud, with 30,000 other people, I think I'd need something too..... did everyone get 0.0000156 grams?

We cover a fair bit of Scotland although many of us (myself included) no longer live there.

We should start a Directory on where we lived in Scotland and where we live now.

Myself -Edinburgh now North East England.

I lived in Dennistoun for a while then King's Park.
Live in sunny London now :-D :-D

OH lived at the bottom of the castle esplanade in Edinburgh in his childhood.
He saw every tattoo from his window. :-) :-) :-)

In my 57 yrs I haven't moved around at all.
I was born and raised in EK
Went to school in EK
Married in EK
Raised my kids In EK
........... and I STILL live in EK

However my eldest daughter has moved to Paisley ( but she still works in EK... LOL)

Myself, I travelled with my OH while he
was in the Army, stayed in England and abroad.
We came back to Aberdeen and have been here ever since :-)

No, I wasn't born in Cambuslang, my grandfather was. Grandad's 5 youngest siblings were born in Dalserf.

Grandad was one of 17! Surname is ADAM

I was born in Bellshill hospital in Glasgow (but we didn't live in Glasgow).
