Born in Rosyth, brought up in Glencraig/Ballingry/Rosyth, also lived in Perth, Dundee, Iona, London, Dunfermline, and Edinburgh and moved to Bromley area of Kent in 1988 after my mother died. |

My gran used to send me round to Stephens the local bakers in Rosyth every morning to get the morning rolls plus an unsliced loaf of plain bread all fresh from the oven :-) |

Well I spent a fab day in Scotland yesterday and it was hot hot hot :-D.......bit too hot for moving day but relaxed afterwards in the Meadows and licking an iced lolly.....hundreds of folk just lying about on the grass in the glorious sun :-D |

There was a Bakers in Broughton Road area of Edinburgh where you could get hot rolls straight out of the oven at about midnight. We used to collect them on or way back from a night out. Very tasty. |

It's OK George been down South for 39 yrs so when we go "home" I have difficulty sometimes understanding and keep saying "pardon" even though OH and I still have our Scot. accents but kids have broad Yorkshire! :-D |
