	'It is wrong to equate Hadrian’s Wall with the border between Scotland and England. Most of Northumberland and part of Cumbria lie north of the wall. Scotland does not touch it. And apart from that, when it was built, the Scots were still in Ireland and the English still in Germany'. (From today's Times). Happy Summer bank holiday to all in Scotland.

	Hi Dermot, Know what? I looked at my calendar and it also says that today is a bank holiday.... where in Scotland is this holiday? It's business as usual here :-( :-( :-(

	Enjoying our mornng coffee, OH and I were discussing the sirens and trying to work out many ambulances and police cars could we hear. This is awful! It's a sleepy, old fashioned farming village http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-glasgow-west-23587679

	Not sure if I will know anyone involved, but I do know folk who use the Equestrian Centre where it happened

	What a terrible incident that was that occurred near the village of Auldhouse, also the tragic incident near Ardrossan in which two young men drowned in the reservoir :-(
	Researching: I am researching the Wotherspoon family from the Old/New Monkland areas of Scotland, some moved to the Leslie and Kelty areas of Fife and I'm having problems linking the Wotherspoon's from Leslie and the Wotherspoon's from Kelty. I am also researching the Clusker family from Co. Meath in Ireland who moved to West Lothian and from there to Fife............"Vita non est vivere sed valere vita est"
