Glasgow Airport is in Paisley, Renfrewshire.
It used to be called Abbotsinch Airport before it became an international terminal

Abbotsinch was at one time a Royal Naval Air Station. I remember about 60 years ago going there to a Cadet camp.

Harrogate is boring.
Scotland is even more boring with the exception of a few parts of Lanarkshire and Edinburgh which are dangerous instead. Rebus will confirm that.
Scotland is the summer planet capital of midges.
Getting around Scotland without a helicopter is slow and tedious - and boring.
If Scotland disappeared few people south of the border would notice. If at has already disappeared I stand corrected.

Independence for scirtland.

Just short of 500 years ago ( Sep 1513 ) one of my ancestors was leading his men under the command of the Duke of Norfolk at a place called Branxton in Northumbria. His foot soldiers were armed with a very big stick called a bill.

This encounter at Branxton is often referred to as the Battle of Flodden. There is a song of sorts associated with it lamenting the death of James IV on the battlefield.

James IV is my 1st cousin 17 times removed. He died 9 September 1513. Probably killed by an Englishman charging with a bill.

Rollo, travelling around Scotland boring!! Slow maybe because the scenery is so lovely you have to drive slowly to enjoy it. Have you ever driven through Glencoe or or across to Glenelg and then taken the ferry to Kylerhea on Skye and on to Portree? That very must be the least boring in the world - just watching the skipper's dog is worth the fare. And if anyone can call the road to Applecross boring, well they need there heads testing!

Got no Scots in my tree, but my parents had a holiday chalet at Kippford in Dumfries and Galloway. We had many holidays there, although it always seemed to rain when I took my family!
Mam and Dad were looking to settle in Dalbeatie when Dad retired, but his health deteriorated, so it wasn't to be.
