I am most impressed by your efforts and results, thank you so much. I am glad that you finally found the link to the theatre,I often wondered if my mother was cloud cuckoo land when telling me about her mothers exploits.
So,Mr Rysart was a married man,not only that but grandmama worked alongside his wife, naughty girl,no wonder they couldn't wed.
Mums half brother,H V C was born 19.8 1940 and taken in by a convent as his mother was ill with leukemia, from which she died the following April, but my mum never lost touch with him so he couldn't have been formerly adopted. Having said that,I have noticed that it says ADOPTED at the end of his birth cert. I have found it impossible to trace my granmothers liniage as I cannot trace her birth records, and my mother never knew her grandparents.
I have bought all the possible Kendrick birth certs for the relevent time and area, but none seem to fit,and none have the exact christian name combination,I wonder if she really was born in France as mother claimed.
Anyway, thank you all again for your efforts I am grateful , and love to you all, send round your ironing and I will do it for you.
Nina in sunny Sheffield.
Thank you Lady Kira for all that work, must have taken you ages, well,if you type at my rate it would. The link on findmypast I will have to try later, they are playing silly beggers at the moment

Thanks TS. On lunch so quick posting. My observations on the school record are 1) His surname is Rysart and 2) he was being transferred to a special school which fits in with What Anina has posted.
Aninna it was your Kendrick records I was wanting addresses of. Every little detail builds up a picture. I have researched some Kendricks with connections in Liverpool and Wales. LK

I have been fasinated by this thread and would love to be able to trace the Kendrick side.
In the meantime Hector seems to have led a very full live in 1930 and again in 1931, with the Loraine Mansions address, he went on cruise. Both were first class he travelled alone. The 1931 original has a column for travelling unaccompanied by wife in which Hector is recorded. In 1930 he went on the Atlantic Islands Cruise and in 1931 to Lisbon, Madeira and the Canary Islands. I think they are both the same places.
As passengers were listed alphabetically I also searched for Kendrick and Coppell.
I rather hoped that Anninas grandmother got a bit more out her short life than two illigtermate children to care for

Well, that is all my paper info, all I have left is what my mum told me. She did speak of French relations who owned catering facilities in London,so did she know Hector before moving to Liverpool to have her illigitimate baby? Could he have been her father also? As for her birth date,we who have been at this game all know that until you have paper proof,it is not always written in stone when they were born, she could have been born 1908,7,or 9. Without finding her birth records we can't know.
Anyway,I will sign off for now,any more you need to know, give me a shout.
:-) :-) :-) :-)

Hi Sally
Please may I suggest that you start a thread of your own on Albert Victor Walker otherwise it will get very confusing and mixed in with the Annina info.
May I suggest that you start your own thread, delete your entry on this one but first cut and paste Renes reply to your new thread.
I will have a look for you later on
Wendy :-)

I do apologise for making the thread all messy, but I did find this and wanted to post before I lost it:

If Sally would like me to start a new thread off for her I'm happy to do so and copy the info over, we can then delete our posts on here.

Margaret Hilda is certainly enigmatic!
I note that on Margaret Hilda's death certificate details that Annina posted "clerk at aeroplane works" so did Hector get her the job?
My gut reaction is that she went to Liverpool to have Annina's mum away from home.

I can't find the birth of Hector Valentine Charles Rysart 1940, son of Margaret and Hector. I tried just using Hector and Bristol 1939-1941. I t doesn't really matter as Anninas has the birth certificate but I wonder why I can't see it.
EDIT ... FOUND IT ON ANCESTRY COULDN'T FIND IT ON FREE BMD
Annina.......Do you know if Hector V C married and if his name was changed? What did your mother call him when she referred to him? You may have unknown cousins somewhere if he had children.

After the death of HCVR in Hythe in 1967 an N A Rysert continued to live at that address 33 Earlsfield Road. Wonder if he/ she was a child of Hector and Amy and a half sibling to Annina's mother
