so glad you brought this forward Persie - was thinking of Sandie when I stuck my cards up just now - bit late I know!! I had a card from Sandie's husband and children which was lovely - didn't expect them to be doing cards this year - God bless them - I do hope they and the rest of Sandie's family manage to cope with Christmas without her <3 <3 <3 <3

Yes Persie you are right, I will be leaving Sandie on FB, haven't got the heart to de-friend her.

I'm so chuffed to see Sandie's tribute thread on page two.
Jem and I have been trying to keep it on page 1 but the last time I looked , it was on page 11 so I had a feeling that peeps wonted it to do it's thing as other threads do . We all deal with loosing a family member or a friend in so many different ways , I know for a fact that the memories we all have will help .

Yes we all have so many memories of Sandie's wash days, she would not be venturing out to the line today so all the rads would be covered and has she put it " the lecky would be put up a notch". Putting her washing out on a Sunday was always a wind up and she would put me in my place.

I can remember a long time back when Tec and I ribbed her about her hair because she said she irons it , and of course you know we boys, we were trying to visualise Sandie ironing her hair .

Then we had the " welly toppers " and another wind up , so many lovely memories you have left behind Sandie , you were a star on the Welsh thread and now when I look up into the sky I know that star is looking down on us all .

Miss your chats on the phone so much Sandie, they will never fade away, we had so many laughs <3 <3

I always think of Sandie when I clean the shower.. she was forever in there when they got the bathroom done up.

and the other time I think of her is when I get a haircut (last Friday in this case) and how she hated to have her haircut.

Sandie will remain on my Facebook friends.. and I am sure she will remain on yours as well Diane..

Hello Carole,
Yes Sandie was always dashing of because someone wonted something ironed :-)
And she was always fighting with the large bath towels on the line.
She's left so many lovely memories for us all <3

I remember Sandie always had to dash off to iron shirts for her son, I think :-)
