Shame, isn't it, GP - used to go on school trips there!
I'll say one thing for Norfolk and Suffolk, they do keep true to their traditional resorts. :-)

I am trying to guess who you are referring to Errol - Any clues ?

GinN - Just the dome and its building are left - All sideshows ghost train etc all gone.
A school was built on the land where the shows used to be. Lots of pubs have closed now.

Hiya GinN. I visit Whitley bay, Cullercoats and Tynemouth quite often and I have never seen any on display for ages. Mind you these places have changed dramatically over the years and it appears that you can only buy ice-creams if you can find a vender.

Hi Lilybids - Tell that man to come to Geordieland as we are desperate for a toffee apple. :-D

Lilybids, yer mixing up yer Geordies, Pet - it was GP that was fancying the toffee apples!

GP, try the seaside, maybe Whtiley Bay. Our local seaside place, Hunstanton, has a sweet stall (Rocky Thompson) that sells them, and comes out to all local events. :-D

Hi Everyone,
Had lunch with the family and shared a bottle of Asti Spumanti with my daughter. We were both wondering if you can still buy "Toffee Apples" these days as I have never had one for years. Any thoughts !!!
