Barb - we did a kenyan safari about 8 years ago. It was very safe, but some of the loos on route were unspeakable - i would rather have wet my pants! :-0

Fabulous Geordie. OH would love to see the Rockies and he wants to see Africa on a sort of Safari holiday He cant run anymore so a safari is definitely out LOL

I'm spending the inheritance I got from my Dad!
We're going to Vancouver and the Rockies in late August, and South Africa next March. Oh, and Whitby in November - I just love that place, so hope it's foggy and spooky then! ;-)

Sorry that your OH was ill and you had to cancel, Barb, upsetting time for both of you - but looks like you're making up for it now!
Where will you be going?

I have 2 booked. One a week next Friday for two weeks and another the beginning of September.

Had to cancel 2 holidays 2 years ago as my OH was rushed into hospital a week before we were due to go.

He is well now so like you, do it while we can. :-D

Barbs - mostly dull, but when the sun did appear, the wind was enough to chill your bits, and has been all week!

What do you want one of those nasty noisy things for. You are safer on 4 wheels my lovely. Anyway to look the part you would have to get yourself some black leather gear. Quite frankly I dont think it would suit you
