Geordie :-D :-D :-D :-D

Mersey, wasn't gonna mention my jollies but I is sooo excited. My only fear is Gatwick North Terminal for 3 hours.

Usually fly out of Bristol, very small and no fear of getting lost :-D :-D

I did ask earlier if you've had a SuperDuperDay ;-)

Mersey Report 8 Jun 2013 19:09

Sorry Auntie Barb...it has been somewhat different for my usual Saturdays ;-) ;-)
You know me I keep smiling through :-D :-D

I have a major fear (panic stricken/palpitations) about flying but hopefully in the very near future I might not have, saying no more :-D ;-)

Airports can be a pain, but it's one you need to endure - I know what you mean about Gatwick North, Barb - much prefer South, it's somehow more relaxing. All the Heathrow terminals are hellish. Went to USA from terminal 5 last year - awful!
Going by train next week - Eurostar, TGV - lovely! And no worrying about liquids in your hand luggage, or where you've put the nail scissors and tweezers!
:-D

Actually I am scared stiff from take off to landing. But one's gotta do what one's gotta do.

Few gins on board helps ;-)

Do you mean on here not usual or your day. Tell me to mind my own ok <3

GinN Report 8 Jun 2013 19:32

Ilove the take off, Barb - can't keep the smile off my face when those engines rev up, it's almost better than.................
a gin and tonic!
What don't like are overnight flights - can't sleep with my feet on the floor, and I'm darned if I would pay the price for Ist class - shocking! :-0

The longest we have been "up" is 4 hours. It will be over 8 hrs and I'm dreading it

Errol, black leathers ????? nah ;-)

GinN Report 8 Jun 2013 19:43

Barb - hope it's a day flight. Take a good book and a magazine, and maybe an MP3 player with your favourite music.
Hope there's not too much turbulence when the drinks come round! We can't be spilling that hard earned gin! :-D

Mersey Report 8 Jun 2013 19:46

Still wildly windy here near Channel coast.
Sun has been shining all day though and Folkestone seafront was packed for the Red Arrows display this afternoon.

Just put some more washing out to take advantage of good drying weather.. I hope it doesn't end up in Sussex !
