I hope that it all tongue in cheek. Downing Street Cat seems out of frame ;-) I have heard that affair happened a long time ago at Chequers, so DSC seems unlikely.

If it's the two people involved that I think it is...there's a very good reason why it needs to be kept quiet,

I agree with whoever said it has been a fiasco. But it has been the cleverest bit of political management in terms of suppression.

I am not sure whether the eventual management of this "scandal that rocks the establishment" will be worth all the suppression and diversionary tactics. I have not seen any possible linked pairing that begins to compare to what has been widely leaked.
