I do not agree that it is only the Home Counties that supported Maggie. |

Guardian or not...even though it's not a red top it runs with it's own agenda like every other paper in the UK does.....I'll continue to keep an open mind. |

If it's a "well-placed Whitehall source" it's more than likely true. |

Guinevere interesting article, in particular the mention of tax havens, maybe HMRC should seize his passport and investigate all his business dealings ;-) |

Not bothered who planned it - thought it was interesting that the queen wasn't impressed. |

You are right Muffy, her funeral was planned under the premierships of Tony Blair and Gordon Brown with all party approval. |

Even at this stage, Ed Milliband could show some guts and stay away on Wednesday with Her Majesty's opposition. |

Gwynne. Probably part of the security for next Wednesday. We need to remember who is attending. Jeremy Clarkson, Dame Shirley Bassey, Ken Livingstone, Arthur Scargill....... |

According to news reports the Queen has raised questions over appropriateness of such a divisive figure being escorted on her final journey by military honours. |

In certain parts of the country, your vote seems to be wasted because it is a "given" that a certain party will get in. In Northamptonshire, it was spires and squires country and farmer Tim Boswell would have automatically got a big majority whatever he did. In the Rhondda, Chris Bryant of Labour would get in whatever. |
