It is announced that she will have a ceremonial funeral with military honours at St Paul's Cathedral.

I think that in some ways that is appropriate

More for the historical aspect, I will go to see the ceremonial funeral, as I do most state events that happen in London.

I will also be respectful that it is a funeral of someone's Mother/Grandmother/family member/friend.

If AnnC is not allowed to say she dilikes Maggie then how come 2 have wrapped the same words in their post.And I have wrote that I don't like her.

R I P Maggie, the Iron Lady. I did not always agree with her but I did admire her a lot.

RIP Margaret, I didnt really agree with some of her policies but she was a strong minded woman and I really admire her for that...

Although I never copied what AnnC said, I did contribute to her thread but removed it after her post which was not simply to say she didn't liked Margret Thatcher Her post was full of abusive comment and HATE, I stated on the thread that I was removing my post because I didn't realise it was a Hate thread.

I did not celebrate her in 'life', I will not celebrate nor mourn her in 'death'...I try to be a good person

how could you consider reporting me for saying I never liked her plus the fact tht she ruined our manufcuring industry - it is my right to say what I thought about her and I did not contravene rules of this site

others have posted much the same but I don't see you jumping on them

terryj - Churchill also saw off Hitler! Not sure that there were many politicians around then who could or would have inspired such leadership! His funeral was in recognition of a great man at a time of dire danger from a grateful nation. Mrs Thatcher too was a couragous strong and dedicated leader, and I think people have forgotten what a shambles this country was when she came to power and how deeply embarassing it was to admit to being British to the rest of the world, laughing stock comes to mind!! I think she was an amazing woman and we could do with someone like her NOW!

Ann, I did read your post and as stated you said far more, May be you should not have been so quick to deleted the thread/post, So others may have had time to read your post.

As for facts about her being responsible for ruining our manufacturing industry is not a fact, ...... it's your opinion,

My opinion is that the manufacturing industry required no help from anyone,... They did it all by themselves
