Well I think we all know both actors won the award, and didn't they do well? :-D

Poor Roy looks lost already doesn't he? :-(

As we were away all last week I have had to watch the recorded Corrie programmes one after the other. I agree with Emma that Wednesdays was much more upsetting than Mondays. But what some great producing of the Hayley and Roy story. and what some great acting (good Julie won the award and, as she said, it was for both of them). Great acting not only by Roy and Hayley's characters but also Carla (never liked her acting much before but she played her part here so well), Fiz and Anna. Beautifully written, produced and acted. Roy's grief is heart rending.

I think the interplay between Roy and Fiz was brilliant. Fiz was very angry with herself and Roy, and it is all emotions that we have all felt when a loved one dies.

I agree Carla is also sympathetically played, but not sure about Ann. She is doing quite a lot of staring into the middle distance, but not a lot else.

Boring with Sally and her bloke, and I think we all know that Sophie is going to be sharing a tongue sandwich with Maddie!

And once again, I DONT CARE about Nick, Leanne, Eva, Stella or Gloria!

Amazing acting from Roy and Fiz last night. Very tearful viewing for me!

Oh what a roller-coaster the last week has been for Corrie. Such lovely acting between Fiz and Carla too.

I fear that Roy is not heading for his mother and aunt's house, but is going off for a wander!

Still dont care about Nick, Leanne and clan, storyline. Just too tedious for words.

Roys scenes were so moving on Friday - why did they have to cut to Silly Sally and Sulky Sorfie?

oh, and I would like to have a coffin the same as Hayley's - hate the wooden ones with brass handles - must remember to tell my son :-D

As Island said Roys scenes were acted out really well and I did have a tear,

Really fed up with Sally and co, and Nick and Leanne, going on far too long.

I'd like Nick to murder Gail, cos she's doing my head in, and then he can be banged up for life - cos he's getting on my bits as well

It is all going to seem a bit mundane now, hopefully another good storyline will emerge soon.

Such good acting from Roy ( and Fiz) on Friday night,
The service was so moving, yes I know it 's not real but felt like it.

As a spot of humour loved that Norris and Mary were dancing the tango in the yard :-D

Other storylines are imo pathetic!! :-|

I also liked that it showed Norris's 'kind' side when he saw Mary dancing on her own.

Doubtless we have Tantalising Todd about to step into the limelight. How grim :-(

I can't stand the smarmy Todd, put him in a box with Gail, Nick, Sophie, Leanne, Tracey and Carla. And since when did Carla get so close to Hayley?? I thought her speech and also Fiz's was a step too mawkish. Better to have the wonderful Roy speaking from his heart.

I loved the coffin, though. Nearly as nice as the totally recycable green ecopod which I have picked for mine. with gold scrolls down the side :-D
