Seriously though I met up with Noddy a few years ago, he was handing out prizes at a Management Training event, he was a really nice genuine chap, extremely proud if his roots. He remembered me from when he came with his Dad to my Moms house.

He was born in Caldmore
And that makes me calmer
Born Newhall St
Twas his country seat
Then moved to Beechdale
Bloxwich beyond the pale
And school TP Riley
And finish with a :-)

Thought Noddy was born in Pleck :-S :-S Another member of Slade lived in Finchfield - do you remember those detergent adverts? One was in "Shining" White Oak Drive. Seem to remember that was where he lived, off Castlecroft Road in Finchfield, Wolverhampton.
