making a guess means a person is big headed?

JustJohn

JustJohn Report 2 Mar 2013 23:04

Not to say bigheaded ;-)

I have absolutely no idea who is in control of her Splash and was certainly not commenting upon that!

Trying to guess where somebody lives because of their mode of transport is sooo wrong and bigoted

JustJohn

JustJohn Report 2 Mar 2013 22:56

Errol. If Mersey says she is in control of her Splash, she is in control of her Splash.

If referring to Parkside and I am wrong, I can only think you live on Sandbanks in Poole - near Harry and Jaime. And my favourite (after Katherine Jenkins) Louise Nurdin :-D

couldn't be further from the truth!

JustJohn

JustJohn Report 2 Mar 2013 22:42

You live in Parkside, Wimbledon, Errol. But I won't tell anyone :-D ;-)

eRRolSheep

and the location is?

Maybe they should sell the car to help your area out of the fuel poverty crisis?

We tend to rather like cars here and have a lot of respect for anything half decent

JustJohn Report 2 Mar 2013 22:35

Flippin heck. I live in Valleys, Errol. This car next door is more expensive that any of the houses down here and is a real head turner (mind you, his Renault Clio was very tidy too and tasty).

An AventAdor and a Countach? You have just given away location of where you live. :-D ;-)

OH had a BMW but I sold it :-(

eRRolSheep Report 2 Mar 2013 22:24

Apparently it was owned by a Saudi prince before he imported it

My next door neighbour but two has an AventAdor

JustJohn

JustJohn Report 2 Mar 2013 22:20

Errol. Think this one might be an Aventidor. Foreign anyway, and Renault Clio looked quite nice.

Countach is a real classic :-)

Next door neighbour (72) has just swapped his Renault Clio for a Lamborghini. Took it down to West Wales today for its first spin and on the way back phoned his wife from Sarn Services.

"Ewww!! It drove like a dream, cariad. Very tidy indeed. Be home in about 10 minutes. Just along M4 to Junction 34 and up past Talbot Green".

"Be careful, Dai" said his wife, "Just heard on Welsh News that a car is travelling wrong way along the M4."

"One car!!! Ewww. I've seen hundreds of them" :-D

Well, I'm a well-looked after, but clapped out, old girl who drove our well-looked after, but clapped out, 15-year old BMW Estate over to my allotment this morning. It contained a 10-year old clapped-out wheelbarrow and a few clapped-out tools.

I performed well until dusk and so did my old BMW getting me home, but tonight I'm still clapped-out :-D

Love me old BMW - she serves me well <3

Fast cars and fast women.
By the time you can afford them their performance is great but your isn't.
Still, imagination is a wonderful substitute !

I bought a nice cabriolet when I retired........why not, I couldn't afford anything like that when I was younger. What's good for the goose etc.... :-) I haven't pulled anything yet though.......well only my back getting in and out!! lol.

I looked at a nice powerful converable last year. Good condition, reasonable price, lovely drive.....then the wife found out.

We spent the same amount of cash on curtains carpets and a kitchen. Ho hum.
