I see nothing has changed in my month's absence. The same old, same old.
No wonder I was not in a rush to come back.

For those that do not know it, the Chat Board, is a life line for some, where they can come to express some nice pleasantry's (sp), with like minded friends. Friends that they have made, by being on here for a long time, and not a newcoming, troublemaking userper. I always thought that Chat Board was just that.

However, since the late summer, it has become a place, where less and less old friends come to chat. Instead we have become harangued with one person's opinions, be it Christianity to Sexual Abuse, via politics and Wales. I have seen many old friends castigated for having any opinion of their own, and leaving the site.

I, too have strong opinions on the above subjects, but would not dream of coming on here and stuffing it down other people's throats, as I have constantly seen it done of late.

This is not meant to cause offence to AnnCardiff, rather it is to support her.

I now have a mental list of people who are going to come on here in response to my comments, but hey, I put it down to old age and the very strong meds. That and the common sense that I have with that same old age, and being bought up to know that you do not talk to another human being in that manner.

Very sad at how things
have become on here.

I've just arrived home for lunch and have read the threads on this post and I think you all need to calm down a little so i would like you to look and listen to the attached video which is about an 80 year old man flying kites with lovely calming music. Hope it works
