snowed here in lincolnshire over night we have about an inch and more forecast.
stay indoors janet to cold and grey to turn out stay nice and warm and safe

A covering of snow this morning in N London, then thawed, now falling quite heavy but not settling.....B****y cold though :-(

No snow yet in our part of Suffolk but it's definitely taters. (Where did that expression come from?)

Snow is apparently due here late afternoon and evening. Guess who is supposed to be chairing a committee meeting tonight in town? All the other committee members live around town where roads are gritted and there is public transport. I'm the only idiot who has to drive a few miles through untouched country lanes to get there. I may be offering to chair the meeting from the end of the phone!

Light smattering of snow here this morning ,its all gone now and drizzling and Brass Monkey Weather. :-(

No snow here in Merseyside.....I love walking Mums dog in the snow!!...he chomps at the bit to get out there and catch snowballs ..... :-D <3

I've got 2 mighty miffed cats. It is now settling here and they are not happy. Here is Bedfordshire :-D

Snow has melted here. Just took the cat for a walk up the fields to get us both some exercise.

Had a covering of snow at 3 am this morning but had mostly cleared when I got up.

Started trying about 1 hour ago but is now coming down quite heavy

Hope the birds got a good feed before this lot came down

Had wet snow in the night and for a few hours this morning, it only stayed on the grass. between Rotherham/ Barnsley S yorks.

Here in Norfolk we have had a good two to three inches of snow ,it started falling about four this afternoon and the last couple of hours it has turned to the fine snow.
Looks really lovely out there now ,all sparkly :-) :-) :-)

Snowed in North Herts overnight and then again this afternoon. I wish it would go away, I HATE SNOW! :-| :-| sorry for shouting :-)

had a bit of snow on sunday night, here in south manchester. the morning sunshine soon shifted it. has rained all afternoon but its now freezing outside.

Snowed quite hard for a while tonight ,up The Wenallt ,Ann. But it has now turned to sleet!

I grew up in Scotland, hated the snow. According to my aunt, that town didn't have a white Christmas again until the second time I went back.. in 1990 I think it was.

I had some years of snow when we lived in the US & Europe, and I never want to see a snowflake again as long as I live :-D

These days I live in the sub-tropics........ and two/three years ago we had a big storm a few days before Christmas...... I took photographs of our front garden, covered with giant hailstones :-D
