FGS!!!!!! the posting I reported was all in Welsh - I, and others on this site do not speak Welsh, I have no idea what you said, neither do I care - you really are quite insufferable and you are also giving the Welsh a bad name if indeed you are Welsh - you have definitely overstepped the mark now and I have not been intolerant and have made a justified report of your posting - answer that if you can - in English |

Have to agree that all posts which include non standard English should have a translation. |

you have done exactly what people complain about regarding Welsh speakers - you posted in Welsh knowing full well that it would not be understood by the vast majority of people on this site - just what non Welsh speakers dislike so much about Welsh speakers when they revert to Welsh if a non Welsh speaker arrives on the scene - sneaky and underhand - to me you are just as bad as your pillock of an Archdruid friend |

Those posters that use commonplace greetings or sign offs on the Wales thread would always explain nicely the translation. They mostly comprise of a couple of words which translate to: |

I was thinking earlier that the people on this thread who were posting in welsh were excluding others like me who do not speak or read welsh. I would not report it myself but surely if it is against t&cs for one poster to do it it is wrong for all of the other posters as well. Both John and MrDaff have been using welsh with no English translation |

i Said this earlier in the thread...and it's more relevant now than when i first said it.........i REALLY did intend to visit Wales this summer....and as a result of some of the posts on this thread i feel it would make my holiday awkward when all i want are a few days of FUN with my family...sod that.........i'll go to the lincolnshire coast instead......less petrol money and folk who aren't out to prove a point. |

Muffy - you can visit me here in Cardiff and you will get a true Welsh welcome - the Welsh are a welcoming nation, they really are - I agree that some of what has been posted on here does give a rotten impression, but it's certainly not the Wales I know and love and my family have been here for centuries - I'm back to the 1700s on my tree in Wales |

Ann i LOVED the folk who I bought my collie from in eggulsglural (sorry can't remember the welsh spelling) they spoke welsh but didn't ram it all down my throat....just were glad that I loved their pup and wanted to give her a good home...i had nothing but good vibes towards the Welsh til recently....now i just feel that I'd risk ballsing up my holiday so some shallow twat could prove a point.,no thanks.we don't have many holidays ...and i want the ones we do manage to take to be special......not fraught with poiltics..... |
