The word "stan" means father .............

no different to the germans calling their country their fatherland

I know Eldrick referred to Stan, but I don't remember seeing any of his posts saying HE worshipped "Stan".

This is getting ridiculous.

I only renewed my membership because I enjoy using the boards.

I don't enjoy them much now.

This type of censorship really gets up my nose :-P

Seems a lot of the Ladies on here wish to be in the Club, some others are having problems with We,s "22" times ,others wish to have Cream to dispense with a Rash, ( May I humbly Suggest Vanishing Cream) Ann,s problem with Fleas can be cured by using Spot On ( at least thats what the Vets Suggest) and Chris is suggesting "Buy One Get One Free" Heaven Forbid.Then there is the mention of "Stan" at frequent times, What about FRED,he needs to be spoken about,"As in Right Said Fred" I,m thinking of resurecting "Ron.L.Hubbard" to join the fun. :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D ;-)Ps. any ladies with problems contact .they wont print the address but its diarydoll ;-) ;-) ;-)

I very rarely post on this board but I have read a lot of Eldrick's posts and am really sad that he has been removed from the boards. I rarely agreed with what he said and did think that some of his opinions re religion were very OTT (even for a non-religious person like me) but as somebody famous once said (can't remember who) re free speech:

" I may not agree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it".

Maybe we should start a "Re-instate Elrick thread" but that would probably be RRd immediately.

he had always referred to Stan, Stan was his alternative "god" - I shall miss Eldrick - one of the best posters on these boards - so amusing, so eloquent, so intelligent, never boring

I have read many of El****'s posts and been highly entertained by them.

I never saw ONE that said ANYTHING about worshiping "stan"

I'll stand up for anyone's right to post on this forum, if the post is within the guidelines.

If the "guidelines" seem to suit one person's opinion and not another's, this site won't last much longer.

I don't knock anyone's beliefs, but I don't have time for "organised religion" because it was shoved at me when I was a child, it was a way of making us behave...... through FEAR!

If I suddenly decide I am "offfended" by someone's religious posts, and report them, what do you think will happen?????
