They are continuing to keep Dizzi sedated for the next couple of days whilst they treat her intravenously with the strong drugs for the pneumonia. These drugs are quite unpleasant whilst going in, also intravenous drugs & jerky movements do not mix.

If I hear anything different over the weekend I will let you know, but do still keep posting.

Reading these will keep her occupied for some time once she is allowed her ipad , thus keeping her from trying to do too much too soon.
She is sure going to be hopping mad when they do wake her.
I think all who have met her now have visions of Dizzi racing round the ward with a drip stand attached to her tripod walker, pushing it with one hand whilst brandishing her walking stick in the other.

I might ring her OH later if we haven't heard anything.

No news is good news though!!

Edit: Bum!! Forget that. I just realised i only have Dizzi's mobile number. :-(

Probably best thing for Dizzi to be sedated will stop her running around and will give her body chance to rest and concentrate on fighting the bugs .
