So enjoyed last nights episode.
Good to see the two daughters getting on.
For a minute I thought Alan was going to have
a heart attack and die.

Did you know it is based on a true story Emma?

GinN

GinN Report 12 Dec 2012 11:01

I hope itwon't have a sad ending. Looks like Alan may die of a heart attack :-(

Julia

Julia Report 12 Dec 2012 11:11

It was absolutely brilliant, as usual. Love it, .

But, please note, it is on twice next week, to finish off the series.

Tuesday as usual, and on Wednesday, also at 9.00.

Won't read the spoilers to you .

Thanks for the Wednesday heads-up. Will have to check that the planner has picked that up. Still to watch yesterday's, not that 'spoilers' bother me.

AnninGlos Report 12 Dec 2012 11:53

Thank you Julia, if it sticks to the true story I sort of know the ending.

Emma it is written by 'Celia's' daughter in real life.

Ann thank you for info, the story makes me smile,
a joy to watch.

Is it true they have commissioned a second series?

'Emma'

'Emma' Report 18 Dec 2012 10:37

Not heard anything about that.

AnninGlos

AnninGlos Report 18 Dec 2012 10:43

I think the popularity just shows that we don't all want violence in programmes. The mainly gentle approach of this series is what makes it popular, together with the humour.

Ooh, wheels within wheels, got a bit tense tonight. Quite brave of the author to write it I think being that she is 'Caroline'. Looking forward to tomorrow. Will they have the wedding?

Gillian is a bit naughty, isn't she? Considering she just had her son move back in again, I thought she was pushing her luck to invite yet another chap upstairs lol

Missed bits as I was busy elsewhere in the house and the dvd recorder wouldn't work, I had accidentally pulled out a lead at the back when cleaning and hadn't realised.

Last episode tonight.
