Anyone, that posts on our thread on Find Ancestors (Please Don’t Post About The Same Family Twice) gets a very warm 'welcome'

I have found 'this' part of the site....quite 'hostile'


Maybe I've upset someone or done something wrong?


I can see the reasoning in the thread 'Being Ignored'

Hi Gins, sometimes it can get a bit 'hostile ' here because comments have been made and then deleted or whooshed, but the memory lingers ;-)

But certainly you've done nothing wrong, and not seen you upset anyone :-) I hope I haven't ignored you, if I have it was unintentional :-)

Think that quite a few of the regular helpers on Find Ancestors and Genealogy Chat feel the same way and seldom venture onto this board.

Awww I'm sorry Gins...it could be that the last few weeks have been a bit 'edgy ' on here with some spats between members and so posts have been missed?

I sometimes read but can't think of anything interesting to say lol but it isn't because I am ignoring the individual poster :-D

That is no reason to 'ignore' someone

I feel, I am 'blanked' on here


I just want to take part in some of the interesting discussions

Hello Gins, sorry that you feel ignored. I have to admit I haven't noticed you being ignored. Unfortunately the board this past couple of weeks has been a bit uncomfortable. On behalf of gen board regulars I apologise for any perceived rudeness I am sure it is not personal.

Please don't give up, please continue to post on here, we need all the posters we can get and if you put up a thread zi am sure it would be very welcome. :-)

Nothing much on telly Rose, I think people have got fed up with the nastiness over the past week or so and are staying away. I know I haven't been on as much as it got quite uncomfortable.

I've always enjoyed your rare posts on here Gins and I think I have responded a couple of times, because you do have a great sense of humour.

I think some people are a little, shall we say, in awe of some of the more (shall we say again!) 'experienced pros' coming on here from over the road.
