My original comments were not aimed at any individual and certainly not anyone on this site. I only joined on Wednesday last week and new to posting messages on here. I was making a general observation on how the standard of the English language both written and spoken has deteriorated over recent years. This seems to have set a rather hostile reaction from some people who seem to have taken issue with my comments. I should have checked my message before posting it, but I did however correct my error as soon as I realised, which just goes to show we can all make mistakes. Sorry folks. I will do better next time. |
