It was good to talk with you last evening Joyce, I hope you managed to get some sleep and will soon be organised for your trip over here.

I hope the children will be home today and they will continue to make a good recovery, hope R. goes to the dr and O. will be alright, what a lot of worry for R. and P.

Sorry everyone i have,nt been on last news i heard was when Rach said that Chloe was getting better ,and Benjamin he would,nt let them do limper punch but they took blood instead ,he is only 6ys old bless him
I wish to thank everyone for there surport for my 2 G.Granchildren and i hope Benjamin is out soon ,fingers crossed for there little sister she is only 2yrs going on 3 next 2 weeks ,but i have not heard from Rach since the day before yesterday as she was so worn out ,but will update if i hear anything until tomorrow as weds we are on the ferry to England ,once again thank you everyone

Hope Chloe and her brother will soon be well and home again, try not to stress yourself Joyce, you have enough to worry about with travelling over but for you to get ill as well would just cause more problems. Ask the doctor for something to help you if you need it, if you can take any more pills with all those you have already.

first of all everyone i have from the beginning sent my positive thoughts to chloe several times and also wish the brother well,Dutch asked for positive thoughts and she got them,dont go into detail when your asking for positive thoughts because if you get things wrong people will question.
oh and thanks for the 3new nasty pms this morning ,one or two from the same person as yesterday, you know who you are.

From my understanding it is very rare for two people in the same family to catch meningitis at the same time, that said my mother in law, and my daughters friend contracted Meningococcal meningitis, at different times, and with mother in law, we had to wear gowns and mask when visiting, so if you are going to visit you may find you will have to do the same, but you obviously have other health issues, so it may not be a good idea to visit. When my mother in law had it, my mother was taken into hospital, with an unrelated condition, but because of my contact with Mother in law, it was very complicated.

As for nasty pm's, I've had them, and don't tolerate them, so iif anyone thinks this is a nasty post, don't bother to pm me. As I've said earlier, I have had too many encounters with meningitis in my life, this post is an informative post for those who wish to know more.

Jude, that's OK, Joyce was very upset when she got the call from her R, she couldn't stop crying. I'll ring her later on today to see if there is any news. Hope there is good news of both of them.
