Hope Chloe and her brother will soon be well and home again, try not to stress yourself Joyce, you have enough to worry about with travelling over but for you to get ill as well would just cause more problems. Ask the doctor for something to help you if you need it, if you can take any more pills with all those you have already. |

Wishing both children well. What a terrible time the family are having. They will be so worried. Hopefully this awful illness has been caught in the early stages and the children will be over it soon. |

From my understanding it is very rare for two people in the same family to catch meningitis at the same time, that said my mother in law, and my daughters friend contracted Meningococcal meningitis, at different times, and with mother in law, we had to wear gowns and mask when visiting, so if you are going to visit you may find you will have to do the same, but you obviously have other health issues, so it may not be a good idea to visit. When my mother in law had it, my mother was taken into hospital, with an unrelated condition, but because of my contact with Mother in law, it was very complicated. |

Jude, that's OK, Joyce was very upset when she got the call from her R, she couldn't stop crying. I'll ring her later on today to see if there is any news. Hope there is good news of both of them. |
